LEAD PASTOR

Buddy Kelley is the Lead Pastor of The Foundry Church. He and his wife, Carrie, serve together with a shared passion to see people transformed by God’s love and made alive in Christ. Buddy considers his most important calling to be his role as a husband and father, and together he and Carrie are raising their four children—JD, Levi, Livie, and Cara—to love Jesus and serve His Church.

Pastor Buddy had a life-changing encounter with Jesus at the age of 17, and since that time he has been faithfully pursuing God’s call on his life. He holds a degree in Biblical Studies from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and is currently pursuing his Master of Divinity from Liberty University. Over the years, he has served in many roles within the local church—from janitor to Lead Pastor—giving him a deep appreciation for every aspect of ministry.

In addition to his pastoral calling, Pastor Buddy has faithfully served for 18 years in the Army National Guard and is a combat veteran. He sees his service not as separate from his ministry, but as an extension of his calling to serve others with courage, discipline, and sacrifice. As he looks forward to retirement from military service, he remains committed to leading with integrity both in the church and in every area of life.

Pastor Buddy does not take his position for granted and understands the weight and responsibility of his calling as a pastor. He desires to see people come to know Christ, fall in love with the Word of God, and live lives led by the Spirit. He is excited to see how God will continue to work in and through The Foundry Church.
